S.C. IMA-METAV S.A. produces front wheels and main wheels equipped with brake blocks for IAR 99 STANDARD and SOIM aircraft.
The manufacturing range is completed by brake discs for various aircraft, as well as brake systems for tanks.
Obtaining the friction materials which compose the elements of transformation, absorption and dissipation of braking energy are obtained within SC IMA-METAV SA, by applying specific technologies, according to the type and the demands of the braking systems.
The endowment of SC IMA-METAV SA laboratories with inspection equipment at the highest level of qualitative requirements, allows performing a wide range of analyses and tests which lead to a complete determination of the whole physic-mechanical and operating properties of the products.
All the manufactured products, braking systems, spare parts, are subject to specific trials on the testing benches that can simulate the static and dynamic conditions during contact and running on the landing raceway, this guaranteeing their quality.
